- UFC 118 PRODUCES NO MAJOR MEDICAL SUSPENSIONS

by MMAWeekly.com Staff The Massachusetts State Athletic Commission on Thursday released medical suspensions for UFC 118: Edgar vs. Penn 2, featuring Frankie Edgar vs. B.J. Penn, at the TD Garden in Boston.

Please note that multiple suspensions to an individual are served concurrently.

Below are the suspensions following the event:

– Gray Maynard was suspended for 30 days, with no contact for 21 days.

– Kenny Florian was suspended for 45 days, with no contact for 30 days.

– Nate Diaz was suspended for 60 days. He is suspended for 180 days if he has a nasal fracture.

– Marcus Davis was suspended for 60 days and requires a CT scan for reinstatement.

– Gabe Ruediger was suspended for 30 days, with no contact for 21 days.

– Dan Miller was suspended for 30 days, with no contact for 21 days.

– John Salter was suspended for 30 days, with no contact for 21 days. He is suspended for 180 days if his left hand is fractured.

– Greg Soto was suspended for 45 days.

– Nick Osipczak was suspended for 30 days, with no contact for 21 days.

– Amilcar Alves was suspended 30 days, with no contact for 21 days.
