The Ultimate Fighting Championship takes its show to the
Land Down Under this week for the first time in the promotion’s history. UFC
110 takes place Sunday in Sydney, which equals a live pay-per-view in the
United States on Saturday due to the time difference.

A pivotal heavyweight bout between former Pride champion and
former UFC interim champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and rising contender Cain
Velasquez heads the fight card. Topping the supporting cast is a fight that
fans are hoping is as explosive as its potential promises. Another former Pride
champion, Wanderlei Silva steps into the cage with “The Ultimate Fighter”
Season 3 winner Michael Bisping.

Several of the fighters from UFC 110 met with the media on
Monday at Sydney Harbour with the iconic Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House
in the backdrop.  The participating
athletes, alongside UFC Managing Director of International Development Marshall
Zelaznik, also took a trip around the harbor on the famous Sydney Thunder Jet
Boat.
