- UFC 102 LIVE WEIGH-IN RESULTS

MMAWeekly.com was on location from the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Ore., for the UFC 102 official weigh-ins where all the fighters made weight.

Three time UFC heavyweight titleholder and two-time UFC light heavyweight champion Randy “The Natural” Couture and former Pride superstar Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira headline the event in a bout that’s probably a number one contenders match between the two MMA legends.

“Tomorrow night is the most important fight of my life,” said Nogueira to the live audience. “I just came from a loss, so I trained very much. You guys are going to see a different Nogueira than the last fight, for sure. We’re going to make the best fight of the night.”

I’m very prepared. I trained very hard for three months.”

Couture commented, “It’s a great fight. He’s a tremendous opponent. This fight is a long time coming. It’s a pleasure to be on the main event here in the Pacific Northwest where I grew up and where I lived for so long.”

“We’re both coming off loses, but I don’t know that that matters,” he added. “I think we’re both marquee guys. It really doesn’t matter. I think we’ll go out and have a good performance. It’s going to be a great fight.”

In middleweight action, Nate Marquardt and undefeated Demian Maia face off with the winner’s next bout likely for the middleweight belt.
