TUF Brasil LogoTeam Nogueira will be well represented in the finals of the second season of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil.

TUF Brazil 2: Team Nogueira vs. Team Werdum wrapped its run on Sunday night with two Team Nogueira fighters, Leo Santos and William “Patolino” Macario moving on to the welterweight tournament finals.

Sanots and Patolino will square off at Saturday’s UFC on Fuel TV 10: Nogueira vs. Werdum at the Paulo Sarasate Gymnasium in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil. A coach’s bout between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum headlines the fight card.

Santos (11-3) made his way into the finals by winning unanimous decision victories over Team Werdum fighters Juliano Wandalen and Thiago Santos. He actually lost to teammate Santiago Ponzinibbio in the semifinal round, but Ponzinibbio broke his hand during the bout and could not be ready for the final.

With Ponzinibbio out, Santos was slotted into the final.

Patolino (6-0) earned his berth into the final with a unanimous decision victory over Thiago de Lima Santos before TKO victories over Tiago Alves and Viscardi Andrade.

wow, tuf brazil must be cursed or something. both seasons now have had a finalist unable to compete in the finale.

well at least nog vs werdum is still intact.

This season saw a considerable drop in talent, ponzinibbio was my favorite just because he’s an argentinian surrounded by brazilians and managed to not get stupid about the jokes and seems an overall nice person, much humbler than your regular “pelotudo”, the two better fighters dutra and cabral were forced out early on due to injury, and do not even get me started on fighters like david, just a hint: every time he thought punch was coming he dropped hopping tp get tangled and start his jitsu game, most boring and embarrassing fight i’ve evr seen… He also lost both

I have fuel tv but I’ve never seen any of the episodes. I’m sure they would have aired them or advertised. Hmmm
