The light heavyweight showdown adds to the developing card, which takes place Dec. 6 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
Anderson (4-0) comes into the December fight fresh off his win of the UFC’s reality show. In the TUF 19 finale, Anderson took just 61 seconds to earn a technical knockout of opposite finalist Matt Van Buren. Three out of Anderson’s four wins have come by TKO.
Villante (12-5) brings a .500 UFC record into the December match-up, going 2-2 in his first four fights in the Octagon. In his most recent outing, Villante earned a split decision over Sean O’Connell at a UFC Fight Night card last June.
