Snake bites must be good for business… at least when it comes to The Ultimate Fighter TV ratings on FX.
Episode 8 was notable for James Chaney, whose nickname is “Snake,” trying to bite his way out of a choke. That episode pulled in season-high-matching ratings of 1.1 million viewers, which seems to have carried over into last week’s Episode 9.
Episode 9, despite no snake bites, pulled in 921,000 viewers, according to MMAWeekly.com industry sources. That was good enough for the fourth best ratings this season.
