The upcoming battle between ‘Ultimate Fighter’ season 14 coaches Michael Bisping and Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller will be a five round main event set for Dec 3 in Las Vegas.
UFC officials on Monday announced the fight will go along with their new main event format with Bisping vs. Miller being a five round fight.
“Bisping and ‘Mayhem’ spent the last few months as TUF coaches and they really got on each other’s nerves,” UFC President Dana White said. “On Dec. 3, the talking finally ends and these two will go at it inside the Octagon. There’s a lot at stake in this fight. Not only do they get to settle their feud, but they get to prove that they belong in the mix to fight Anderson Silva.”
The two coaches coached teams of 16 fighters in the UFC’s bantamweight and featherweight divisions, and the finals of those fights will also take place at the Pearl at the Palms Hotel and Casino on Dec 3.
It’s the first season where the 145lb and 135lb weight classes were featured, and two new names will be added to the history of ‘Ultimate Fighter’ champions.
