The Ultimate Fighter’s fourteenth season opened with a respectable TV rating of 1.5 million viewers for the season premier. The second episode came in slightly stronger, pulling in an average audience of 1.6 million viewers, signaling a strong start for the series.
The premier episode featured a full slate of 16 fights, whittling the 32 bantamweight and featherweight competitors down to the final 16 that made it into the fighter house.
Episode 2 was the first of this season that falls into the true “reality series” genre with the fighters in the house.
