“The Ultimate Fighter: Team GSP vs. Team Koscheck” (Season 12) finale at The Pearl at The Palms Casino Resort on Saturday night drew an unofficial attendance of 1,622 for gate receipts of $380,025.

Those numbers are according to UFC officials at the post-fight press conference. The official numbers will come from the Nevada State Athletic Commission next week.

Jonathan Brookins beat Michael Johnson in the TUF 12 finale to lay claim to being this season’s Ultimate Fighter.

Brookins was on the verge of defeat in the first round of the fight, courtesy of Johnson’s onslaught of punches and knees. He dug deep, survived the opening stanza, and brought the fight back to his favor in the final two rounds.

He walked out of the Octagon with a unanimous decision victory.

Season 1 finalist Stephan Bonnar fought Igor Pokrajac in the night’s co-main event, where he earned a unanimous nod from the judges as well. The victory was the second of back-to-back wins.
