Saturday’s “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 11 Finale drew an average of two million viewers to the televised portion of the event on Spike TV, according to Spike TV officials.
While that number is well below last season’s finale, which average 3.7 million viewers, this season didn’t have the added punch of the anomaly that is Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson. The Season 11 finale did, however, pulled strong enough numbers that it was the highest drawing show of the night, on cable or broadcast television, in the highly coveted Men 18-34 advertising demographic.
Even though the two million average viewers fell short of last season’s mark, it was very much in line with Season 9’s finale, which drew 2.2 million viewers without the added benefit of a Kimbo-type of draw.
The Season 11 finale featured Court McGee defeating Kris McCray to take home the honor – and six-figure contract – awarded to this season’s Ultimate Fighter.
