“I wanted out. They wouldn’t let me out. It’s like the mob,” says Frank Trig. “I was done. I just wanted to be a broadcaster and help the sport any way I could. But then for like 2 months I got offers every day.”

Then… all of a sudden, Trigg is back in the ring, despite blowing up to about 220 pounds while he wasn’t training. He came back and defeated Jason Miller for the ICON middleweight strap and it was just announced that he will now face Pride Welterweight Grand Prix champion Kazuo Misaki, who is ranked #4 in the MMAWeekly.com Rankings, on February 24th.

MMAWeekly’s Scott Petersen takes you In The Cage with Frank Trigg as he talks about passing on The Ultimate Fighter: The Comeback, his return to face Jason Miller, his weight struggles, and his upcoming bout with Kazuo Misaki.

Rich Crunkilton fought and defeated Mike Joy this past weekend at World Extreme Cagefighting’s Las Vegas debut. He spoke with MMAWeekly’s Ricardo Mendoza about the fight, his future in the WEC, and a new venture that he’s undergone with Hermes Franca.

The interview with Crunkilton is also up now at MMAWeekly TV’s In The Cage. If you’re not currently an MMAWeekly.com Premium Member, it’s quick and easy to sign up.
