The Paradise Warrior Retreat returns to New York City during Super Bowl and UFC 169 weekend February 1st and 2nd 2014 at Renzo Gracie’s world-renown martial arts training academy located in the heart of Manhattan. Featuring some of the sport’s most elite fighters and instructors, this star-studded seminar is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for fans and athletes to train with some of the best names in the sport of MMA and kickboxing.

The PWR offers an oasis to the multitude of NFL and UFC fans thirsty for more live action during this event-packed weekend.  Fans can stop by and spectate, meet-and-greet, or even train one-on-one with the new Ultimate Fighter coach and former UFC Lightweight champion Frankie Edgar, world kick-boxing champion and newly MMA crowned fighter  Tyrone “King of the Ring”  Spong, the academy’s mixed-martial arts and Jiu-Jitsu legend Renzo Gracie, the new MMA rising star Edson Barboza, and boxing elite coach Mark Henry.

The PWR seminar host Renzo Gracie, a world-famous Jiu-Jitsu coach, has helped train a number of professional fighters including Matt Serra, Ricardo Almeida, Georges St. Pierre, Frankie Edgar, Rolles Gracie, Chris Weidman, Kyra Gracie and Roy Nelson.

The Paradise Warrior Retreat, established in 2004 in Malibu, California, has since expanded to cities across the continent including Los Angeles, Montreal, Palm Springs, San Diego, Chicago, Vancouver, Las Vegas, and Toronto to name a few. PWR provides warriors of all ages, genders, nationalities, religions and disciplines the opportunity to learn the principles and strategies of fighting, as applied in any type of combat or in day-to-day survival under the instruction of the world’s most elite martial artists. All of the PWR instructors invited to the seminars are world-class champions, role models, and legends in their respective discipline. The seminar is meant for anyone with or without experience.
