Top FC 2 Set for Seoul Olympic Hall This Friday

top fcTop FC 2 is set for the Seoul Olympic Hall this Friday night with middleweights Jae Young Kim and Ben Kelleher facing off in the main event and eight 145-pound fighters participating in the opening round of a featherweight Grand Prix.

The headline bout sees Kim (15-11-2) return after tasting victory at TOP FC – National League 1 last November. The Korean veteran will be taking on Kelleher (11-4), a New Zealander who is currently fighting out of Phuket Top Team in Thailand.

The eight-man featherweight tournament features seven Koreans and one Japanese fighter. In the opening round, Seung-Hwa Han (4-3) faces the sole foreigner Joji Mikami (2-0), Jae-Woong Kim (4-2) takes on Dong-Gyu Kim (2-0), Yeong Gwang Choi (8-7) goes up against Min Ok Yoon, and Kyung-Ho Park (1-3) meets Hankook Jeong (0-2).

This will be the fourth card put on by the promotion formed by Korean Top Team. It was initially to be headlined by a middleweight macth-up between Dongi Yang and Moise Rimbon, but the UFC veteran suffered a broken nose in training.
