ONE FC: Dynasty of Champions is set for the National Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium in Beijing and will be headlined by a bantamweight fight between former Legend FC champion Xian Ji and top Ruff contender Song Yadong.

Ji (11-2) was supposed to make his ONE FC debut earlier this year, but was unable to make the bantamweight limit. He will need to watch his weight cut carefully as this time around he is set to compete in the main event against Yadong (4-0-0-1)

Ji was Legend FC’s bantamweight champion when the promotion folded last year and was swiftly snapped up by ONE FC, while Yadong only made his pro debut last year but is riding a four-fight winning streak and was all set to challenge for the Ruff title.

The co-main event will feature the promotional debut of Adrian Pang, who was briefly the Legend FC 155-pound champion before losing the belt due to a split decision defeat at the hands of reigning ONE FC 145-pound champion Jadamba Naruntungulag.

Pang (20-8-2) suffered serious injuries after being the victim of a night club assault in 2012, but made a successful comeback last year and is currently ranked as Australia’s top lightweight, a status he will be looking to cement when he takes on Vincent Latoel.

Latoel (15-15-2) has proved extremely popular with ONE FC matchmakers and will be making the trip from Holland to Asia for the third time in the space of just six months. He has alternated wins and losses under the banner of Asia’s biggest MMA promotion.

Fans around Asia can catch ONE FC: Dynasty of Champions live on FOX Sports 3 and fans from around the world can witness the action online via live streaming at The first two undercard fights are available for viewing free-of-charge and the main card fights will be available for purchase at just US$9.99.

It will determine who is the best current Chinese bantamweight fighter. Also, it will draw in the Chinese crowd as they are both well known. I’m sure more Chinese fighters will grace this card and more added to the roster when they become worthy. A giant leap indeed and one that will help the promotion to penetrate the Chinese market further as well as expansion into new ones elsewhere. Good news for fighters as they get to fight more and earn more in addition to greater sponsorship and image exposure. One FC is now shown in many countries throughout the world.
