SHERIDAN, COLO. – In the headline bout of local area promotion Rocky Mountain Bad Boyz’ Nuclear Assault fight card, Atlanta, Georgia’s Tony Barker scored a big win for his young career in the main event.

Barker took Hans Marrero down early and kept the pressure on Marrero throughout. Following a couple of reversals, he ended up taking Marrero’s back. Although he couldn’t finish off the rear naked choke, Barker ended up pounding Marrero into submission just prior to the end of the first round. Barker’s professional record upped to 2-0 while Marrero’s dropped to 11-4. Barker earned the promotion’s Middleweight title in the process.

In an exciting grappling match that saw both fighters attempting several submissions, Chris Cisneros walked out of the cage with the promotion’s Super Lightweight belt. He finished Rex Payne with a Kimura shoulder lock midway through the second round.

In other professional action, Chris Camozzi defeated Joe Serna by verbal submission. Camozzi picked Serna up and slammed him to the mat, which caused Serna to submit due to pain in a previously injured knee. After rocking Nathan Osterkamp both and the end of the first round and the beginning of the second, Colorado Springs fighter Shawn Claffey finished Osterkamp by Guillotine Choke early into the second.
