A change has been made to next weekend’s UFC on Fuel 2 card in Sweden as Jorgen Kruth has been forced off the card. In his place steps Ricardo Almeida student Tom DeBlass.
DeBlass comes to the UFC on just over a week’s notice to face striker Cyrille Diabate on the April 14 card in Sweden.

Sources close to the fight confirmed the new bout to MMAWeekly.com on Tuesday. DeBlass later confirmed a four-fight deal with the UFC via Twitter.
Tom DeBlass comes to the UFC with a perfect 7-0 record and was the Ring of Combat light heavyweight champion prior to signing on to fight in the Octagon.
A black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMAWeekly.com first profiled DeBlass in early 2012, where he talked about his desire to fight among the best in the world, and that meant he was gunning for a shot in the UFC.
“As long as I’m fighting, my goal is to be the best in the world. Anything I do, I want to be the best in the world,” DeBlass said.
“Right now, the goal is to get in the UFC. I think I’m improving at a fast rate with the help of my coaches, Mark Henry, Professor Ricardo, and I’m a man on a mission right now.”
Now he’ll get the chance to prove that as he steps in to face Diabate on the upcoming card in Sweden next weekend.
