Titan FC has been noticeably absent from the MMA landscape for the past couple of months, but that was by design. The promotion is going big for its next event, which includes four title bouts as part of the AeroFest festival in March.
“The Mobile Aerofest night of champions show in March is going to be an amazing event for us,” Titan CEO Jeff Aronson told MMAWeekly.com recently. “I think fans can expect more and having every event eclipsing the one before. We really want to give the fans the number one fan and fighter appreciation league in the country.”
The promotion on Friday announced three of the four title bouts that will take center stage at AeroFest on March 20 in Mobile, Ala., and air nationally on CBS Sports in the United States.
Heavyweights John Madsen and Chase Gormely will battle over the heavyweight belt, and Walel Watson faces Brett Johns for the bantamweight crown, while featherweight champion Desmond Green will defend against Kurt Holobaugh. There will be 14 total bouts on the card with one more title tilt to come.
Mobile AeroFest is a multifaceted annual festival to take place at the Mobile Aeroplex on March 20 and 21, 2015. The Festival’s mission is to actively improve the lives of America’s injured warriors through a confluence of talent, vision and technology that has never been seen before in the production of a live event.
Through national music acts and a televised Titan FC card, Aerofest 2015 benefits, highlights, and celebrates military veterans.
