BJ Penn spoke with MMAWeekly.com co-founder Ryan Bennett and former Pride announcer Stephen Quadros on MMAWeekly Radio from Hawaii before his family’s fight promotion, Rumble on the Rock 7, in 2005.

Among other things, Penn talked about how he thinks people should fight at their true walk-around weight.

This interview was done during the BJ Penn/UFC dispute when Penn was not fighting in the UFC.

Penn said, ” I want to fight everywhere.” He also talked about wanting to end and how to end the dispute with the UFC and his dream fights, including wanting to fight Wanderlei Silva.

“The reason why I want this fight is because I don’t know how I am going to win… I have no clue.”

This is a cool video. I thought it was funny tho when he said he was gonna go up to 185 and take out Tanner or Franklin. I think he gave up that idea cuz around this time was when a guy named Anderson Silva joined the UFC haha.
