The Ohio Athletic Commission on Monday released medical suspensions for Saturday’s WEC 47: Bowles vs. Cruz, featuring Brian Bowles vs. Dominick Cruz, at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

Three of the evening’s four co-main event fighters were suspended due to medical reasons.

Below are the suspensions following the event:

– Dominick Cruz is suspended indefinitely unless he gets medical clearance for broken hand.

– Brian Bowles is suspended indefinitely unless he gets medical clearance for a right hand injury.

– Miguel Torres is suspended indefinitely unless he gets medical clearance from a surgeon for the cut to his forehead.

– Chad George is suspended for 60 days and must get medical clearance prior to his next fight because doctors observed that he was unstable following his fight.

– Chad Mendes is suspended for 60 days and must get medical clearance for a cut prior to his next fight.

– Danny Castillo is suspended for 60 days, which is standard due to a knockout loss.

– Courtney Buck is suspended for 60 days, which is standard due to a knockout loss. (Buck’s finish was treated as a knockout due to him being choked unconscious.)

– Bendy Casimir is suspended for 60 days, which is standard due to a knockout loss.
