Mansion” show. Strikeforce makes history tonight with the first mixed martial
arts event ever at Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner’s home.
Friday’s weigh-ins, both Gilbert Melendez and Josh Thomson, two of the more
popular fighters competing at the mansion, spoke with MMAWeekly about their
one of the fighters that found himself in limbo for most of the past year. When

Stage Entertainment, Melendez, like many other, ended up playing the waiting
game as he was under contract to Pride.
