The 24 fighters participating on The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale fight card stepped on the scales at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Friday. All fighters made weight, save for Maximo Blanco, who weighed in one pound over the allotted limit. He was given an hour to shed the pound.
Main eventer Urijah Faber tipped the scales at 136 pounds, while Scott Jorgensen weighed 135.5.
The Ultimate Fighter 17 finalists Uriah Hall and Kelvin Gastelum fight for a UFC contract, a custom Harley Davidson motorcycle, and the title of The Ultimate Fighter. Hall weighed in at 185 pounds. Gastelum, the youngest TUF finalist at 21 years old, weighed in at 186 pounds.
Former Strikeforce titleholder Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano will be second women’s fight featured in the UFC. The winner will coach opposite UFC women’s bantamweight titleholder Ronda Rousey. Tate weighed 135.5-pounds while Zingano tipped the scales at 136.
