Analysis:

Chris “Lights Out” Lytle
Record: 30-18-4

Chris is one of the most experienced veterans in the sport with a tremendous skill set that he uses to bring the fight to the ground and score wins.

He is not a powerful striker, but he has a strong chin that has been tested. He is amazing on the ground, with grapping and submission techniques that makes other fighter jealous. The problem with Lytle is that he likes to stand up and brawl. If he does that in this match then the fight will end shortly with him on the losing side.

Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy
Record: 23-9-0

The Britain is capable of winning this match, but it will depend on the game plan Lytle brings to the table. Hardy is coming from a three-fight losing streak and, as a dangerous striker, he will need to stay away from the ground in order to avoid his fourth loss in a row.

His power is his best asset when he is standing up, but he gets taken down to the ground, well, then the fight is done.

UFC 5 Betting Prediction: Go with the submission artist this time. Lytle can take a beating and still come out on top while Hardy on the other hand relies too much on his stand-up game. Take Lytle to win the match.

Lytle is not a strong striker? Lytle started off as a boxer and went 13-1-1 with 7 kos. He’s plenty strong as a striker
