A veteran of Pride, Strikeforce and Dream, Tatsuya Kawajiri has been a top competitor for many years and holds victories over the likes of Josh Thomson, JZ Cavalcante and Joachim Hansen.
After a long career at lightweight, Kawajiri dropped down to 145lbs last year and has been successful in both of his bouts thus far at featherweight.
While he doesn’t have an opponent yet, Kawajiri is expected to be one of the main attractions on the upcoming March show for the budding One FC promotion.
Also expected to take place on the March 31 card will be a bout between leg lock master Masakazu Imanari and Kevin Belingon, as well as Eduard Folayang facing Ole Laursen.
This upcoming One FC card will also be the first for the promotion in their new deal with ESPN Star Sports for broadcast rights throughout Asia.
