Jacare Souza StrikeforceJust hours after an initial press release from the California State Athletic Commission advising that the drug testing results from the recent Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman card were invalid, it appears the results will be returned in the next week.

Following the initial release, California State Athletic Commission Interim Executive Director Kathi Burns sent out a second notification clarifying the situation, and stated that the tests were good and results will be valid.

“The results of the drug testing for the August 18, 2012 Strikeforce event will be provided later this week or early next week. I spoke with the lab just a few moments ago and found that a delay in processing the results has occurred due to a simple, but correctable clerical error,” Burns wrote in an email.

According to previous reports, the problem with the testing was because of ‘something wrong with the collection method’.

Now it appears that original judgment was also incorrect.

The California State Athletic Commission will still have drug testing results from the Strikeforce card, and they will be released between this week and next.

if the commission can’t even correctly report the testing situation, how are we to expect them to conduct actual laboratory testing properly?

it’s like trusting a surgeon with the shakes

You know what would be funny as he’ll? If it came back as Rousey doped after calling out Cyborg for cheating.

    • Ketsugo_John

An athlete testing positive is NEVER funny!

      • BizzleZX10R

        Ohhhh calm down.

no Rousey didn’t dope there was a clerical era besides you can tell when a woman is using roids they start to look like a man and have waaaay to much muscle mass like Cyborg does I like most other common scene people knew the first time I saw Cyborg she was on roids bad .

    • RubeKegal

madda I was thinking same thing. I would have laughed my testes right off!!!

And this is why Dana can’t stand these athletic commissions. New Jersey and Pennsylvania are by far the best commissions out there. Nevada and California suck. We all know accidents happen, and human errors happen but this isn’t misspelling someones name by a letter; we’re talking very important results which can affect these athletes in a very serious manner.

I just love the way you nut hug Dana.

“And this is why Dana can’t stand these athletic commissions.” <–just lol

      Are you trying to say:

      1. Dana is correct and this news goes to prove that Dana is correct.
      2. Dana and I are friends. I know exactly what he thinks because we talk face-to-face all the time.

In any case you sound h0mo

how’d the hell did you interpret his comment as such? he’s providing supporting facts as to why Dana White does not like these athletic commissions, and you interpretted it as nut-hugging Dana and him implying that they’re friends?

        wow. just…wow.

        • BizzleZX10R

          i agree with atmosphere.

          Not nut-hugging at all.

If they want to leave Vegas they can do so at any time. And don’t hand me that “oh they own Mandalay Bay” those old bros got more money than god and the AC boardwalk hall is for sale at all but $1 a square foot. Dana has no right to bitch.
