Strikeforce Preliminary Fighter James Terry Finally Hits the Mark

Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier preliminary card fighter James Terry has finally made weight for his Saturday night bout with Bobby Green.

Depsite being just 0.25 pounds over on his initial weigh-in, it took Terry nearly an hour and stepping on the scale four times to hit the 156-pound limit for his non-title lightweight fight.

At one point, Terry joked that he would shave his head and goatee if he needed to, but that fortunately wasn’t necessary. His official weight was 156 pounds, making the bout official.
