Fabricio Werdum and Brett Rogers respond to Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva’s upset win over Fedor Emelianenko and give their thoughts on the Strikeforce World Heavyweight Grand Prix. On April 9, Werdum will face Alistair Overeem and Rogers will face Josh Barnett in the last two quaterfinals of the Heavyweight Grand Prix.

This is sad but I noticed something about Rogers as of late. He has finally realized (after his loss to Overeem) what it feels like to fight a A-list fighter. He is not cocky anymore. He doesn’t talk ignorant shit like he used to.

Just look at the guys that are still in the tourney. Sergei, Barnett, Werdum, Bigfoot, Overeem. Not only do all these guys have a solid amateur foundation in their respective sports, they have competed against A-list opponents throughout their careers.

Brett has finally realized that he is in a world of trouble.

Brett was a stepping stone for Fedor.

He is a filler for the tourney. SF still wants to build up Lashley and didn’t want him fighting A-list fighters.

Brett will disappear after losing via submission to Barnett.
