The final card for Friday night’s Strikeforce event in San Jose has been finalized. The biggest change on the card is the rumored fight with Paul Buentello taking on James Thompson. That fight fell threw at the last minute. Buentello will now face Ruben “Warpath” Villareal on Friday night. Villareal is coming off a TKO win over Wade Hamilton at a recent King of the Cage show in Canada.
Three title fights are on tap for Friday night as Eugene Jackson will take on Ronald Jhun for the Strikeforce U.S. Middleweight Championship, Bobby Southworth will face off with Vernon “Tiger” White for the Strikeforce World Light Heavyweight Championship, and Josh “The Punk” Thomson takes on Nam Phan for the Strikeforce U.S. Lightweight Championship.
