Forrest Griffin and Stephan BonnarDo you want to see Stephan Bonnar and Forrest Griffin return to The Ultimate Fighter opposite each other as coaches?

Stephan Bonnar does.

One small problem, he doesn’t exactly have the full support of the UFC’s head honcho, Dana White.

White addressed the topic following UFC 146 on Saturday night, and let’s just say he was less than thrilled about the prospect…

I wouldn’t mind seeing them coach but I don’t need to see them fight again.

Seriously… no one wants to see two ham and eggers like Bonnar and Griffin fight again. Let alone the fact that people aren’t compelled by two white guys who’s main characteristic is being tough. It’s like when you have two Mexicans on a boxing card. No one is interested… you know it’s going 12 rounds, and you know they’re tough… and you know there isn’t going to be a compelling end to the fight.

here is the thing tho i think they would make great coaches cuz they both are really funny an as for forrest yeah he hasent really shown any real improvement from his last couple fights however bonnar is on a 3 fight win streak and has really gone back to his jiu jitsu ways and is re focused granted he will never be champ he is like the chris lytle of the 205s everyone loves the guy an i wouldnt mind seeing a bonnar griffin 3 becuase i know the Tuf show would be really funny and just comical to say the least

It isint like it would get any lower ratings then the current season.

It isint like it would get any lower ratings then the current season. Plus the coaches would actually fight at the end for once.

In the words of Short Bus, it would some serious “quack – fuckery” to let these 2 fight again.

    • Booker T

Right on RubeKegal. I think they’re quite comical when they sit down together. Maybe they should do stand up instead of fighting each other.

It would be pointless. What coaching would they do? most new prospects have completely superior ground game than these two put together. Let’s face it, look at all these kids in TUF show, this kids know how to wrestle, JJ, Judo, Karate, boxing, etc etc. Griffin and Bonner are two old sluggers and the MMA sport has left them behind imo.

FAIL!!! What would be hte point, besides the comic relief? If they didnt have to fight at the end, lets do it. Other than that … SANX but NO SANX!!!
