Revgear CompetitionVAN NUYS, Calif. – Revgear, a MMA gear manufacturer and active UFC fighter sponsor, is proud to announce in conjunction with Revgear Europe their sponsorship of six professional Mixed Martial Arts fighters scheduled to compete on October 26th at the UFC Fight Night 30 event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship at the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, England.

The Revgear brand has been synonymous for over 17 years as a top quality equipment manufacturer for various Martial Arts disciples. As the sport of MMA continues to grow so does Revgear’s involvement in the sport sponsoring and supporting more amateur and professional fighters than ever before.

UFC Fight Night 30 will be broadcast to millions around the world and airs live and free on Fox Sports 2 in North America and BT Sport 1 in the United Kingdom. Six Team Revgear athletes will be competing for their chance to advance their careers and chase their ultimate dream of becoming a UFC Champion.

Brazilian Lyoto Machida will be making his middleweight debut against Mark Munoz in the Main Event of the evening with hometown fighter and Team Revgear’s Ross Pearson competing in the Co-Main Event against Melvin Guillard. Also on the Main Card of the event will be British Light Heavyweight fighter and UK MMA favorite Jimi Manuwa competing in the Revgear Spartan Pro II Fight Shorts taking on a very game Ryan Jimmo.

The televised Main Card portion of UFC FIght Night 30 will also feature Portsmouth fighter Phil Harris who kicks things off against fellow Flyweight Jon Lineker. The Ultimate Fighter: Smashes Lightweight winner Northern Ireland’s Norman Parke is riding an eight-fight winning streak coming in to his bout against Jon Tuck in a bout where Norman will be wearing the Revgear Staredown Pro Vale Tudo Shorts.

UK Native Andy Ogle is once again competing on familiar turf in his home country of England and will be wearing the Revgear Staredown Pro Vale Tudo Shorts when he takes on UFC vet and American Top Team’s Cole Miller. WMMA sensation, PhD recipient, sports therapist, osteopath, mathematician and writer Rosi Sexton who was born in Manchester makes history as she is set to compete in the first women’s UFC bout to be held in Europe taking on Jessica Andrade.
