ONE FC: Age of Champions is set for Kuala Lumpur on March 13. Six fights have been added to the promotion’s first card of 2015 with Malaysia’s Peter Davis set to take on Indian Rajinder Singh Meena in the co-main event.
Davis (9-3) has been on every single ONE FC card ever held in Malaysia and the popular model has won more fights for the promotion than anyone else on the roster. He returns to Stadium Putra to take on Meena (8-1) who is a former SFL 155-pound champion.
The bout will be one of two televised on Channel 9 in Malaysia which marks the first time that ONE FC fights has been shown live on domestic TV there. The other sees local favourite Ann Osman (3-1) go up against promotional newcomer and professional debutant Angele Lee.
The four further match-ups revealed include Ev Ting (8-2) looking for a third successive ONE FC win when he takes on Filipino Cary Bullos (7-2). Victory for the Malaysian would put him up with Eric Kelly and Marat Gafurov in the 145-pound title mix.
Malaysian Gianni Subba (4-1) returns to action after an injury enforced absence and the 22-year-old, who has spent his entire professional career competing under the ONE FC banner, will welcome Australia’s Thanh Vu (4-3) to the flyweight division for the first time.
Another intriguing 125-pound match-up sees Thailand’s Anatpong Bunrad (4-1) drop down a division. He will be looking to build on a successful ONE FC debut in Kuala Lumpur last year when he takes on local favorite and Muay Thai specialist Saiful Merican (3-2).
ONE FC put on an event in Cambodia for the first time ever last year and Chan Rotthana (2-1) was extremely unfortunate to see himself lose out in the final of the 145-pound Grand Prix after landing an illegal downward kick to his opponent’s head, which resulted in an immediate disqualification.
The Cambodian is dropping down to 135 pounds for what will be his third ONE FC fight and is taking on promotional newcomer Ramon Gonzalez (1-0), who hails from the Philippines, but is based in Johor Bahru.
