On Wednesday evening, The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced six match-ups that will be featured on the Dec. 12 The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale fight card at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Joanne Calderwood, the No. 2 seed from the reality show, faces the first South Korean woman to compete in the UFC, Seohee Ham.

TUF-20-belt-750Tecia “Tiny Tornado” Torres hopes to bounce back from losing twice during the strawweight tournament and keep her official unbeaten record intact when she takes on fellow TUF 20 contestant Angela Magana.

Popular Aussie fighter “Rowdy” Bec Rawlings will make her Octagon debut against Heather Jo Clark in a bit of a grudge match. To say the two didn’t get along during the filming of TUF 20 would be an understatement.

In what has developed into a heated rivalry, Felice “Lil’ Bulldog” Herrig will take on Lisa Ellis.

Adding some international flare, Team Pettis teammates, Australia’s Alex Chambers faces Ireland’s Aisling Daly.

The opening bout on UFC Fight Pass pits Team Melendez’ Angela Hill and Emily Peters Kagan.

Two more bouts will be added to the card and the first will feature the winners of the upcoming semifinal matches: Randa Markos vs. Rose Namajunas and Carla Esparza vs. Jessica Penne.

The winners will fight in the five-round main event for the inaugural UFC women’s strawweight title. The other fight will be a preliminary card matchup between the losing competitors from the Markos-Namajunas and Esparza-Penne bouts.

Disappointed by JoJo’s loss, but then she didn’t seem happy training in that environment. Still think she’ll wear the belt real soon. In the meantime, I’m starting to think Randa is going all the way.

Well, it had to be different for girls. I mean, new trainng plans and being center of coaches focus…don’t take me wrong, no insult or disrespect to anyone – but I doubt most of those girls are getting THAT much attention from coaches on daily bases. That may have something to do with that…but I still agree with you – JoJo is soon-to-be UFC champ 🙂

she needs to get to an elite camp and really train her bjj. she thought the takedown was right there, but rose was baiting her into giving up leverage.

and man, i really hope you’re right about randa. her and penne are the most likable of the 4 and her grappling will give anyone trouble. she just has to close the distance on rose and she should be good.
