Shark Fights has embarked on its most ambitious event ever, “Jardine vs. Prangley,” which includes its most high profile fight card to date and it’s virgin pay-per-view effort.

Pulling out all the stops, the promotion is also producing a 30-minute countdown show that will debut on HDNet on Friday at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The countdown show will include exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, including in-depth interviews with the fighters and commentating crew.

“This is Shark Fight Promotions first pay-per-view event and we want every aspect of the broadcast to be of the highest quality, from the event itself to the countdown show footage,” said Brent Medley, president of Shark Fight Promotions.

“The Picture Lab Entertainment team possesses a wealth of creative experience when it comes to capturing the essence of mixed martial arts on film. Their team has worked with a laundry list of notable clients, including Electronic Arts (EA), The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS), Showtime, and CBS.”

Picture Lab Entertainment is the Los Angeles-based production company that has been hired to produce the countdown show along with the pay-per-view commercial and several promotional spots for the web.

The countdown show will also air as part of the Sept. 11 “Shark Fights MMA: Jardine vs. Prangley pay-per-view broadcast, along with other exclusive Picture Lab Entertainment footage. The broadcast will air live at 10:00 p.m. ET.
