For the first time since he left Japan, Ken Shamrock will address the Sakuraba fight on MMAWeekly Radio this morning at 9am Pacific/12 Noon eastern.

Everyone can listen for free by logging on www.mmaweeklyradio.com as hosts Ryan Bennett and MMA Fighter Frank Trigg will talk with Ken about the fight, the stoppage and whether or not we will see a rematch.

Many of you have sounded off about the issue on the Soundoff Forum. Here is how some of you saw the stoppage…

“It was a correct stoppage. He turned his back, he was defending himself, it was a little quick, but correct none the less” James Woods – Littleton, Colorado

“It’s obvious that the ref was told to stop that fight as soon as Saku put Ken in any kind of danger. The ref won that fight for Sakuraba. Not Sakuraba. Pride is corrupt. I’ll say it right now. Maybe not fully corrupt but they sure aren’t fair to every fighter and they have so many double standards it’s sick.” – Baroni 23, Provo, Utah

“Sakuraba got a gift in my opinion. He is one of my favorite fighters but not much I can say to defend him in this. Not Saku’s fault, it’s Prides fault, but still. Felt bad for Ken. I mean yeah, he went out for a SPLIT second, but he was alright. It was just a knockdown and just like Ken said… This is MMA, and you have to finish on the ground if you score a knockdown if the fighter isn’t out cold.” – L.A.
