Super Fight League LogoWith two 2013 Pearls SFL events in the books, Super Fight League’s Friday Fight Nights series returns with another amazing fight card for the April 26 Pearls SFL 16 event. Two fighters will make their promotional debut in the night’s Main Event as India’s Sascha Sharma goes toe-to-toe against Spain’s Marca Gomez Sariol in a lightweight battle.

The Co-Main Event of SFL 16 is once again featuring the female flyweights as Lena Ovchynnikova of Ukraine takes on 19-year old Fathia Mostafa of Egypt.

Dan Isaac, COO and Matchmaker of Super Fight League said, “We continue to push the growth of MMA within India.  From our newly opened SFL Fitness Centers and our recent long-term marquee sponsorships with Pearls Group and Mountain Dew things have never been better for our promotion.”

India is well represented on the SFL 16 fight card as usual and a few International fighters make their debuts with the organization as well.

Sandeep Kumar will look to increase his SFL record to 3-0 as he takes on SFL newcomer Amit Thapa. Also on the card is Irfan Khan who will look to inch himself that much closer to a title shot and improving his SFL record to 5-0 in the featherweight division as he takes on Sachin Panwar.

SFL Chairman Raj Kundra said, “I am proud of how much our fighters have developed during our off season and through our Challengers Series.  Every fight has potential title implications.”
