A women’s bantamweight match-up between Sarah Moras and Alexis Dufresne has been added to The Ultiamte Fighter 19 Finale fight card. UFC officials announced bout on Thursday.
Moras (3-1) appeared on the eighteenth season of The Ultimate Fighter, but lost to eventual winner Julianna Pena during the semifinal round. She’ll make her official UFC debut on July 6 against Dufresne.
The 26-year-old Canadian went 3-0 as an amateur before turning pro in 2010. Her only official loss is to Raquel Pennington, who also appeared on TUF 18.
Dufresne (5-0) has been fighting professionally since September 2012. She’ll put her undefeated record on the line in her promotional debut. She’s finished all five of her opponents in the first round, including Kim Couture in her last outing.
The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale takes place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on July 6. The event is headlined by the third match-up between former lightweight champions Frankie Edgar and B.J. Penn, except this time they’ll fight in the featherweight division.
