The injury bug has struck again as ‘Ultimate Fighter’ winner Amir Sadollah has been forced out of his bout at UFC 143 against Jorge Lopez.
Into replace Sadollah will be fellow TUF alum Matt Riddle. The switch was announced by the UFC on Tuesday.
Sadollah suffered a training injury that will force him to forgo his Feb 4 bout and put him on the sidelines, although the nature of the injury is unknown at this time.
Matt Riddle was actually supposed to fight at last weekend’s UFC 141 card in Las Vegas, but he suffered an illness on fight day and his bout with Luis Ramos was pulled at the last minute.
Now he’ll get back in action at UFC 143 instead, facing Wanderlei Silva pupil Jorge Lopez in February.
