Bellator 53 is still awaiting an official confirmation on a venue, a fight has been confirmed for the card as Ronnie Mann takes on Kenny Foster.

The fight was confirmed for the card to MMAWeekly.com by sources close to the match-up with bout agreements issued for the October 8 fight.

It will likely be an emotional return to action in October for England’s Ronnie Mann, who was a part of the legendary Team Tompkins.

Shawn Tompkins‘ passing rattled everyone in the MMA world, but none more than the team of athletes he trained and helped develop over the years. Mann will get back in the Bellator cage with a heavy heart, but a mission to undoubtedly honor his trainer.

Facing Mann in October will be Team Bombsquad fighter Kenny Foster.

Foster was originally scheduled to fight on the upcoming Bellator 49 show in Atlantic City, NJ, but his opponent Andy Main was forced out of the bout with an injury.

Instead, Foster moves back to the October card and faces Mann at Bellator 53.

More information about Bellator 53 will be released in the coming weeks.
