UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is about to go off the grid… at least in regards to talking about herself, but she took a little time to answer a final barrage of questions at the UFC 157 post-fight press conference following her win over Liz Carmouche on Saturday night.

  Maybe she meant “we” as in the women in general. Now we need a legit high level contender to take her on. Dana said he’s bringing over like 15 women so hopefully someone new will be making a name for themselves as a threat.

A real shame that carmouche didn’t lock in the body triangle and finish with a choke or face crank. I expect a strong wrestler to destroy Rousey, maybe cat zingano or sara mcmann

  so was miesha tate not a strong wrestler? i guess being apart of a national team and getting a silver medal against the worlds best grapplers is nothing. dont know much about the 2 girls you named but id be willing to bet tate is the more accomplished wrestler by far.

    Uh Sara McMann is an Olympic Silver medalist in wrestling, THE most accomplished woman wrestler in all of MMA. I like Meisha Tate but let’s just get the facts straight.

        To even mention Zingano and Tate in the same sentence as Sara McMann in wrestling is funny. Tate was actually not even a medalist in the world grappling tournament McMann won. Also Tate and McMann grappled the first match Sara ever even attempted grappling and was doing so without training just for fun 2 months after giving birth to her daughter, in which sara smoked Tate. Tate has no wrestling credentials other than the ones she has made up. I have video of Zingano crying during wrestling matches against McMann because she was getting beaten so badly.

  A strong wrestler would not destroy Rousey but indeed would have a good shot at beating her. You don’t destroy an olympic medalist in judo. A high level thai boxer with some good foot work would be the best bet to beat her.
