After beating Miesha Tate for a second time, Ronda Rousey is ready for a change of pace.

As she said in this video, Rousey is ready to move on and focus on her fight with Sara McMann at UFC 170.

The UFC women’s bantamweight champion also talks about preparing to fight someone with a similar background, with McMann, like Rousey, being a former Olympian. McMann was an Olympic wrestler, while Rousey was an Olympic Judoka.

They will meet in the UFC 170 main event on Feb. 22 in Las Vegas.

Here is my question to everyone. If Ronda Rousey fights 30 times in her career, and doesn’t act the way she did with Meisha. Is She gonna still be defined in the way everyone defines her now?

    • Just Sayin’

Wouldn’t say everyone defines her the same. I have no problem with her and think she is a great fighter. I think her personality was fine and from what she explained, did nothing wrong towards Tate.

You need to go watch the TUF series then. Watch the coaches challenge episode and especially watch as she wins it. That is NO class trash.

        • Adrian Kimmett

It’s not like she didn’t have her reasons for acting the way she did toward Tate. She is an aggressive competitive athlete who beats people and breaks their limbs in a steel cage for a living and for our entertainment yet she is expected to be some sort of elegant docile picture of class in every other situation? She isn’t some British royal princess she is an ass kicking cage fighter for god’s sake.

        • Just sayin’

TUF is just a realty show, nothing more. It is used to get viewers and generate media hype. If you really want to know how they are as a person, meet them or even watch unedited interviews. She did a good one with Rogan on his podcast a couple years ago. Refer to those as character studies and not a heavily edited tv show.

I agree, not everyone looks at her the same. I definitely don’t. I mean how people who have started talking about her perceive her.

    • She seemed alright with Liz Carmouche. I don’t think i’ts just the Tate rivalry anymore, people just can’t stand her in general. Maybe if she fought Cyborg and one it would win her a new fan base, I don’t know. All I do know is that she is an outspoken world class competitor. The Tit of the womens division maybe?

      • Maddawgmar

She also was okay with Kaufman and will be okay with McMann. I think fans were looking for any reason to hate her, before this last fight it was she is a one trick pony, or she is afraid of Cyborg. I think they just didn’t like how she was given all this stardom. Jealousy maybe. And bottom line, we don’t know her, all we know is what edited television showed us. We don’t know what really happened between Tate and Rousey, only they do.

    See you next Tuesday, Rhonda.

McMann had a hard time with Baszler who is terrible and that yells out a very easy Rousey win.

I think the media barrage turned me off a bit to her and some of her antics with Tate seemed like bullying which I’m not a big fan of, but after watching her in that fight with Tate, it reminded me of the early Cro Cop days where he would just hunt people all over the ring and you knew a KO was inevitable…she honestly unnerved me with her psychopathic determination to crush Tate at any cost…and thus earned my respect back. That’s a special kind of crazy and I have to admire it…and her.

Meisha Tate needs to get away from that little loser Caroway who is a nothing.

      And what is she?

  • Shartnado2, the Sloppy One

Translation: everyone hates me now so I want to go back to not being on TV
