All in all, the event itself was great. All of the fights were fun to watch, and the display of mixed martial arts was prevalent within the octagon. The iPayOne Center holds between 10,000 and 15,000 seats. This event probably drew 1,500 fans, or perhaps 2,000 at the most, but the fans who were in attendance were excited and into the event.

The sport of MMA is now legal in California, and fans are loving it. The bang-fest of the night was between Adam Bass and Sam Ortiz, who competed in the first fight of the evening. I would say that the most dominant fighter of the night was Roger Huerta, as he decimated Joe Camacho. The submission of the night has to go to Matt “The Law” Lindland, as he submitted Mike Van Arsdale in the main event by guillotine choke. Faces in the crowd included Dean Lister, Dan Henderson, and the Tapout crew.
