A middleweight bout between Rafael “Sapo” Natal and Riki Fukuda has been added to the UFC 133 card set to go down in August, rumored to take place in Philadelphia.
Sources close to the match-up confirmed the bout to MMAWeekly.com on Thursday. Tatame.com first reported the new fight.
Rafael Natal (11-3-1) will look to get back on track that saw him win 11 fights before coming to the UFC. Natal knocked out former UFC middleweight contender Travis Lutter just before coming to the promotion, but this far he has a loss and a draw to his credit in the Octagon.
Natal was set to return to action in March, but a late injury forced him off the UFC on Versus 3 card, and now he’ll look to return in August.
Riki Fukuda (17-5) makes his 2nd appearance in the UFC and while his first fight shows as a win, many believe he won the bout. Fukuda battled former “Ultimate Fighter” competitor Nick Ring in Australia at UFC 127, but the decision went his opponent’s way despite most at home scoring the fight for Fukuda.
He will try to make the most of his 2nd fight in the UFC in August.
