MMAWeekly Executive Editor Scott Petersen caught up with Quinton Jackson recently after a workout in preparation for his fight this weekend with Marvin “The Beastman” Eastman. The fight with Eastman at UFC 67 on Saturday night is Jackson’s first chance at redemption since having his World Fighting Alliance contract acquired by the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The situation with Eastman stems back nearly seven years when a debuting Eastman won a decision over Jackson at King of the Cage 4. Both were vastly different fighters back then that have developed into the world-class competitors that we see now.

In MMAWeekly TV’s In The Cage, Jackson talks about the fight with Eastman, commenting on his chance at avenging that June 2000 loss. And on the flip side, he also talks about his respect for UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck Liddell’s desire to avenge his loss to Jackson in the Pride FC ring. “I respect it, but that doesn’t mean that I accept it,” said Jackson of Liddell’s desire to seek revenge.

This interview with Jackson is ready-made for TV. He takes fans on a hilarious trip through his gym bag, talks about the upcoming fight with Eastman, and has the interview crashed by special guest intruder Jason “Mayhem” Miller.
