The Pride weigh-in’s are in the books. A couple of interesting notes. Two fighters who usually weigh 205 had no problems putting on the weight to fight at heavyweight.

MMAWeekly’s Scott Petersen is covering the event in Japan and there were some interesting notes from the weigh-in. Shogun Rua actually outweighed Mark Coleman! Shogun tipped the scales at 227, while Coleman is down to 224. Alistair Overeem was a pound heavier than Shogun tipping the scales at 228. His opponent Sergei Kharintonov weighed in at 244.
