One of Eddie Alvarez’s training partners looks kind of stiff.

Alvarez posted a picture of himself on Instagram, putting a rear-naked choke on the iconic Rocky Balboa statue that sits atop the stairway at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The statue remained unharmed and conscious in the photographing of this moment (we think, but we’re not sure).

Alvarez’s next opponent, though, won’t be so stiff. The former Bellator lightweight champ fights Donald Cerrone this Saturday at UFC 178, and we’re fairly confident that copious amounts of face-punching will consume that affair. Hooray.
