The challenger, Dae Hwan Kim, stated, “I know Bibiano Fernandes is a world champion in Jiu-Jitsu, but I’m confident in my skills and I think I can beat him.”

Prelim starts at 7pm and maincard at 8.30pm local time Manila. Herbert came in at 146kg, which is at the max limit for featherweight. Anyway, below are my picks:
Fernandes vs Kim: This one is likely to go down to the wire with Fernandes dominating in many parts but it’s going to be back n forth. The fight will take place both standing and on the ground, where Fernandes will dominate the ground game. However, Kim is a gamer in both areas and this is why this bout is good. I see Fernandes winning via decision as previously in all his One FC victories.

Brandon vs Igor: Many people want to see how Brandon fair at his One FC debut. He brings a wealth of experience and is now fighting at a weight class he prefers. I see Brandon dominating in all exchanges and likely to get a KO or TKO.

Herbert vs Honorio: Even though this bout is now at a catchweight but theoretically it should be a featherweight since Herbert met the max limit of featherweight at 146kg. Honorio can give Herbert a challenge on the standup but unfortunately when he is threatened there, Herbert will take the fight to the ground. It will be interesting to see how each one coup when they are at a weaker point in their respective skills; standing or grappling. I see Herbert winning this.

Rong vs Catalan: This is going to be my fight of the night with a great standup war and it will be entertaining to watch. Rong, despite his late entry into mma, he has adapted well. The good thing about him is that he is not afraid to cease the opportunity in terms of grappling when it is open, whereas most fighters would wait for their opponent to get up.
