One FC-New Logo Circa 2014ONE FC is ramping up its 2014 schedule and on Wednesday announced a June 14 show in Jakarta which will make it three events in three different countries in the space of six weeks for Asia’s biggest MMA promotion.

ONE FC: Era of Champions is set for the Mata Elang International Stadium and promises to be on a much bigger scale than any of the organization’s previous two events in the country with the brand new venue boasting a capacity of slightly over 20,000.

The main event sees two top flyweight contenders collide when Adriano Moraes (10-1) takes on Kosuke Suzuki (10-3-1). The Brazilian is coming off of a submission win over UFC veteran Yasuhiro Urushitani, while his Japanese opponent signed for ONE FC on the back of a five-fight winning streak.

In the co-main event, Indonesia’s best pound-for-pound mixed martial artist returns after a near three-year absence with Fransino Tirta (15-0-1) set to take on Egyptian Sami Amin (4-1). ONE FC has not stated what weight this fight will be at, but Tirta has said that he intends to compete at 135 pounds.

ONE FC has already held one event in Manila this month and will be returning to Singapore on May 30. Next stop will be Jakarta on June 14 with cards also reportedly booked in cities across Asia every three to four weeks until the end of the year.

Fans in Asia can catch ONE FC: Era of Champions live on STAR Sports and fans from around the world can witness the action online via live streaming at www.onefc.livesport.tv. The event will be available for purchase at just US$9.99.

Always good talents in lower weight classes.

I expected Moraes-Suzuki for the title.

Its good that they have well known local fighters to bring in the crowd. It will be interesting to see how many ppl packed the arena, since it’s slightly over 20k. Mma wasnt a hotbed there until One FC came and held events there. My hope is that around 10k will turn up, anything more, wow, it means they trully break into the big attendance league. Being televised in any respective country to which you r going to hold an event will help cultivate and capture the audience. The flyweight champion will be crowned this year with the winner of the main bout on this card a serious contender. Let keep the momentum going; it’s by far the most entertaining mma being shown. Be hold and embrace…let loose your scream for the sheer excitement shown.
