Official TUF 17 Finale Gate and Attendance Vary Slightly from Original Estimates

09-Miesha-Tate-Cat-Zingano-TUF-17-wThe Ultimate Fighter Season 17 Finale took place on Saturday, Aril 13, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The initially announced attendance was 5,549 and gate revenues of $569,000.

The Nevada Athletic Commission on Tuesday confirmed the final tally for the TUF 17 Finale to MMAWeekly.com, and the numbers varied, if only slightly.

The TUF 17 Finale official gate receipts totaled $569,075 with an attendance of 5,382. Complimentary tickets (or freebies) accounted for 536 of the total and 223 tickets were left unsold.

Urijah Faber kept his name in the mix atop the UFC featherweight division by defeating Scott Jorgensen at the TUF 17 Finale, while Kelvin Gastelum upset Uriah Hall in the TUF 17 final, and Cat Zingano finished Miesha Tate for a slot as a TUF 18 coach and a shot at UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
