Keith Kizer, Executive Director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, on Monday released the results of post-fight tests for performance enhancers and drugs of abuse at WEC 45: Cerrone vs. Ratcliff.

WEC 45 took place on Dec. 19 at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas and featured a lightweight showdown between Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Ed “9mm” Ratcliff.

Nine athletes were tested: Donald Cerrone, Ed Ratcliff, Anthony Njokuani, Joseph Benavidez, Scott Jorgensen, Zack Micklewright, Chad George, Brad Pickett, and Erik Koch. All drug test results came back negative.

The WEC moves on to Sacramento, Calif., on Jan. 10 for WEC 46: Varner vs. Henderson for a lightweight title bout between current champion Jamie Varner and interim champ Ben Henderson, as well as the return of former featherweight titleholder Urijah Faber, who faces Top 10 145-pounder Raphael Assuncao.
