Demetrious Johnson

MMAWeekly Radio weekend edition is back with UFC fighters Pat Barry, Yves Edwards, and bantamweight title challenger Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson.

Barry joined the show to talk about his mindset the week of the fights and talks about Stefan Struve.

“It’s all about who is standing across the cage from you, like full contact chess,” said Barry. “I consider Struve to be extremely dangerous.”

He also talked about why he likes this match-up with Struve at UFC on Versus 6, and why the height difference isn’t as big of a deal as people may think.

Edwards, like Barry and Johnson is also on the Versus card, talked about what he would do differently in his last fight and also where he thinks Melvin Guillard stacks up as a contender in the lightweight division.

Mighty Mouse breaks down his fight with Dominick Cruz, talking about the title shot, easily the biggest opportunity of his career.

“I’m coming for blood,” he said. “Im very grateful where I am in my life right now, I came from nothing and now I have a title shot.”
