Travis McPherson and Erik Fontanez break down the event, discussing their thoughts on whether or not Sonnen’s win was legit, if Evans can beat Jon Jones now that he has a title shot against him, and what other fighters impressed at UFC on Fox 2.

    Im not sure if the host read these comments, but I’ll put it here anyhow.
    I’m sure there’s more than these two guys, but when you mentioned jitz guys who’ve turned to being strikers the first two guys that came to my mind were…

    *while typing I also thought about Bj Penn, and you might include nick Diaz, but he’s not really in that same class. (at least I don’t have him there.

    You might be right about there being more wrestlers to make the transition to being a good striker. However I’m not sure that it’s not because we have more wrestlers. I’m not even sure we have more wrestlers period. I’m just saying it might be a quantity issue as we’re seeing more Americans being that we’re in America, and wrestling is big.
